Depth Jump
Sets: 1Rest: 1 min 30 secEst. duration: 19 sec

Step off an elevated platform approximately one foot tall. As soon as both feet make contact with the floor, immediately rebound and explode upward for maximum vertical height. Key points: - Step cleanly off the platform without jumping upward - Minimize ground contact time upon touchdown - Explode vertically with maximal intent immediately upon impact Common mistakes: Jumping off the platform instead of stepping down, or collapsing into a deep squat that prolongs ground contact time.

Kneeling Jump
Sets: 1Rest: 1 minEst. duration: 44 sec

Start kneeling on the floor with hips sitting back toward your heels. Explosively swing your arms and drive forcefully through your hips to pop directly onto your feet in an athletic stance. Key points: - Drive forcefully through the hips to initiate the pop - Coordinate aggressive upward arm swing with hip extension - Stick the landing softly in a balanced athletic position Common mistakes: Using hands to push off the floor or standing straight up stiff-legged rather than popping into a solid athletic stance.

Maximum Height Jump
Sets: 1Rest: 2 minEst. duration: 30 sec

Target a challenging overhead mark such as a backboard, rim, or touch marker. Jump with 100% effort using a standing jump, 1-step approach, or 3-step approach, resting sufficiently between attempts. Key points: - Give 100% maximum effort and vertical intent on every single jump - Take adequate rest between reps to ensure full neuromuscular recovery - Coordinate penultimate foot plant and aggressive arm drive Common mistakes: Rushing between repetitions with inadequate recovery, degrading jump height.
