Target a challenging overhead mark such as a backboard, rim, or touch marker. Jump with 100% effort using a standing jump, 1-step approach, or 3-step approach, resting sufficiently between attempts. Key points: - Give 100% maximum effort and vertical intent on every single jump - Take adequate rest between reps to ensure full neuromuscular recovery - Coordinate penultimate foot plant and aggressive arm drive Common mistakes: Rushing between repetitions with inadequate recovery, degrading jump height.
