High-to-Low Loop Under Rear Block Dynamic Forehand Drill

With the obstacle block still behind the player, execute a full fluid swing starting from ready position. Take the racket up in a compact loop above the block, drop it smoothly underneath, lead forward with the butt cap, and brush up to finish over the shoulder.

Key points

  • Initiate a continuous high-to-low loop without breaking the rear plane of the body
  • Drop the racket head below ball level underneath the obstacle while pulling the butt cap forward
  • Engage leg drive and complete a high, relaxed follow-through over the lead shoulder

Common mistakes

Pausing or hitching the racket path at the bottom of the drop, losing kinetic acceleration.
