Sole Drag, Outside-Foot Push & Inside-Foot Push

Start with the opposite foot on the ball, drag it back with the sole, push it behind the cone using the outside of the same foot, push it forward beside the cone with the inside of that same foot, and exchange feet to mirror the movement. Work interval: 30 seconds. Rest 30 seconds between exercises, as instructed by the coach.

Key points

  • Incorporate three distinct surfaces: sole, outside, and inside of the working foot
  • Quickly exchange feet at the front of the cone to reverse direction
  • Keep the upper body relaxed and raise your gaze as confidence builds

Common mistakes

Touching the ball too heavily with the outside of the foot so it drifts wide.
