Standing Dumbbell Upright Rows

Stand tall holding dumbbells in front of your thighs. Pull the dumbbells vertically up along the front of the torso, leading with the elbows until elbows reach shoulder height (15 reps in Superset 2).

Key points

  • Lead the pull with the elbows high and wide
  • Keep the dumbbells traveling close along the front of the body
  • Lower under steady control without letting the weights drop abruptly
