Outside Step-Over to Opposite Foot Outside Touch

Trap the rebound with the outside of the foot furthest from the cone, perform an inside-to-outside step-over with that foot, then shift across the cone with an outside-of-the-foot touch from the opposite foot.

Key points

  • Control the rebound dead with the outside or laces of the far foot
  • Circle that foot around the front of the ball from inside to outside with body feint commitment
  • Exit across the cone with an explosive outside touch using the opposite foot

Common mistakes

Stepping over the ball without dropping the shoulder, failing to sell the dummy movement.
