Work up to heart rate targets of 150, 160, and 170 bpm with short rests, then finish with hard efforts. - Ride the bike in heat and reduced oxygen to simulate altitude. - Push heart rate from 150 up to 160 and 170. - Use self-talk such as 'I'm not that tired' to keep pushing. - Aims to help recover faster between sprints on the pitch.
