Double Slip to Kinetic Chain Punching

Execute a rear punch, slip lead, slip rear, and fire a punch that leverages the natural elastic rotational recoil of the loaded hip side.

Key points

  • Slip twice in succession to load rotational torque into the hip and legs
  • Fire the counter punch in the direction the hips naturally uncoil (e.g., slip to lead side to fire jab/lead hook)
  • Maintain seamless kinetic flow from defensive slip into offensive strike

Common mistakes

Attempting to punch against the direction of loaded hip rotation, disrupting kinetic flow.
