Jab cross only, no pound. Coach suggests going lower and speeding up. - Float the ball — more time in hands than going down. - Use fingertips and maintain a quick jab cross back and forth.
10 reps to the left side only. Sway body with ball. - Dribble ball right by your big toe for between legs. - Push ball back forward by the big toe for behind back. - Keep feet on ground, hips slightly bent.
Pound between legs while feet split (one forward, one back). Total 20 reps. - Feet outside shoulders, wide stance. - After each between dribble, feet replace back on line under hips. - Keep hips at the same level — not too high or low.
Moving crossover drill: sideline to sideline (or 6-10 crossovers then turn). - Hips turn with the basketball in direction of cross. - Push off outside foot every time you cross. - Down and cross rhythm.
Moving between‑the‑legs drill; same rep range as crossovers (6‑12). - Inside foot steps forward as dribble step, then between legs. - Dribble, step, turn — all in unison. - Body moves forward with the ball.
Blend drill: one crossover then one between the legs, alternating. - First rep: crossover, next rep: between legs. - Keep back in a slanted position (not upright). - Hips down for quickness and reaction.
