Pound and Shoot

Sets:1Hits:10 hitsRest:60 secEst. duration:10 min

Drill with two-handed pound of the ball at varying times (before/after landing) to disturb rhythm. Also works on hand placement and lift path from outside the frame. - Pound the ball at different times relative to landing to disturb rhythm. - Use downward momentum of the pound to get directly back up into the shot. - Two hands on top of ball forces good hand placement under the ball after pound. - Slam ball outside frame/feet to require bringing it up from hip while maintaining stable release. Common mistakes: It's easy to miss a couple shots and start to get down on yourself; must continue to key in through difficulty.
